Wines from Argentina
The Catena family is one of the godfather families of Argentina wine. Tilia, Alamos, Alamos Seleccion, Catena, Catena Alta, Catena Zapata... there is a level of wine for everyone to enjoy. The Malbecs range from easy drinking, rustic to pure elegance. The chardonnays from crisp clean acidity to the wonderful level of toasted marshmallow goodness at the Alta level. Cabernet Sauvignon rivals any from California and then there is the Torrontes (meant to go with cevishe), Bonarda full rich berry and earth, there is a wine for everyone and one that will please everyone. So try something new raise a glass of Argentine wine tonight. You can find these at Quarters liquor stores, Jubilation, Sunflower Markets, Whole Foods, and a few Kelly's. - Megan , posted 11/03/08
